CState Practical Nursing graduate is Good Sam Employee of the Month

Charles Cox, a recent graduate of the Cincinnati State Practical Nursing Certificate program, was recognized at Good Samaritan Hospital as the May “Employee of the Month” for his work as an LPN on the oncology unit.

Charles’ award resulted from his dedication to his patients and fellow nurses and for always going above and beyond to care for those in need. His nomination noted his “composure in chaos, radiant personality, and compassion for his patients,” as well as his “great care for all of his co-workers.” The nomination also said that as the only LPN on his unit, Charles “has proven his work ethic as top tier.”

Charles is continuing his Nursing education at Cincinnati State and is currently enrolled in the LPN to RN Progression (NURP) program.
