Student Vax Incentive has over 1,300 participants
With 2 weeks left until the $10,000 grand prize drawing, more than 1,300 Cincinnati State students have submitted the eForm indicating they are fully vaccinated, and 67 students have reported receiving their first COVID-19 vaccine since the incentive program started.
- Students who want to try to win one of the remaining weekly cash prizes or the grand prize can fill out the eForm at https://web3.cincinnatistate.edu/eforms/eform.aspx?form_id=2033. Log in is not required to access the form.
- Faculty and staff members are encouraged to share the link with students who have not yet entered the incentive program.

Benjamin Stehura, majoring in Computer Programming and Database Management, is the seventh winner of a $1,000 prize in the Student Vaccination Incentive Program.
Nursing student Karla Barnado is the eighth $1,000 prize winner. She said she is vaccinated “to protect my family, my patients, and others.”
Benjamin (photo above, with Student Government Association officer Kamryn Moore) said getting vaccinated was a requirement for his job.
Maria Alvarado Cervantes, a Marketing Management major who won a $100 prize, said, “I got vaccinated because I wanted to be able to hang out with my friends and family in a safe way.” (photo at left)
