Financial Literacy presentations on Apr. 13 & 18 will give skills to manage your money & your budget
Student Activities is hosting two Financial Literacy Month presentations that are open to all members of the College community. Both events are free, but please bring your SurgeCard for check-in.
Thursday, April 13:
Todd Romer, author of the book Young Money, will present The Money System: 5 Steps to Reach Your Dreams by Doing Money Differently.
- Todd is a University of Dayton graduate who lives in Cincinnati. He launched the Young Money University financial success speaking tour to help students (and others) learn how to manage money differently to reduce stress and begin chasing dreams, by saving, spending, investing and giving money differently.
- Todd’s presentation is sponsored by Kemba Credit Union.

The presentation will be offered twice– from 1 to 1:45 p.m. and from 4 to 4:45 p.m.– in the ATLC Demonstration Kitchen (entrance on the ATLC First Floor, across from the Bookstore).
Tuesday, April 18:
Professor Meg Clark, Program Chair for Cincinnati State’s Finance associate’s degree, will present The Art and Science of Budgeting, from noon to 1 p.m. in the ATLC Auditorium (ATLC 211). Attend this presentation to learn how proper budgeting can help you take the first step to financial success.
