Scrub Club students are fundraising to attend national professional conference

The Surgical Technology “Scrub Club” is conducting a fundraiser to help students with costs of attending the Association of Surgical Technologist (AST) Conference that will take place in Chicago in May 2023.

To help the students raise travel funds, please consider purchasing popcorn (in a variety of flavors) at this website. Sales will continue through March 26.

Surgical Technology Program Chair LaVon Moore said, “Attending the AST Conference is a great opportunity for our students to build their professional network, and we will have a team participating in the national ‘Scrub Bowl’ competition that helps prepare students for their national certification examination.”
