Build your brackets for Surge Madness 2023 & celebrate the Sweet 16 at the Alumni Association party & scholarship fundraiser
The Cincinnati State Celebrating Community Committee and the College’s Alumni Association encourage you to build your SURGE MADNESS brackets for the 2023 Men’s and Women’s NCAA basketball competitions.
- Brackets for the men’s tournament will be available on Selection Sunday, March 12, at 7 p.m., and are due by noon on Thursday, March 16
- Brackets for the women’s tournament also will be available March 12, at 8:30 p.m., and must be submitted by noon on Friday, Mar. 17

Also, all are invited to support student scholarships and have a great time at the Alumni Association’s March Madness Sweet 16 Night on Thursday, March 23, at the Summit Restaurant (ATLC 2nd floor) from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
- You can watch the Sweet 16 men’s games, and take breaks to compete in pop-a-shot, raffles, and more
- Your $25 ticket includes a Burger Bar, Roasted Red Skin Potatoes, BBQ Cocktail Smokies, Pretzel Bites with Beer Cheese, Buffalo Chicken Dip with Tortilla Chips, and Turkey Pinwheels

The Women’s National Championship game will be played Sunday, Apr. 2, and the Men’s Championship game is Monday, Apr. 3.
Trophies will be be awarded to winners in each bracket…and the bragging rights will be endless.
