Career Center announces Spring services and events
The Cincinnati State Career Center assists prospective and current students with career exploration and planning, job search skills, networking skills, and referrals to employment.
Career Center activities for Spring Semester include monthly workshops:
- Moving Beyond Undecided – career exploration
- Picked A Program/Major Now What? – career readiness
- Resume & Interviewing Workshop
- CState CareerLink New User Workshop

Students can make appointments for individual assistance at the Career Center using their Starfish My Success Network or by calling (513) 569-4242.
Career Center Spring events include hosting Employer Information Tables on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., on the ATLC First Floor.
Students are encouraged to stop by and speak with company representatives and learn about local opportunities.

- Delaware North Sportservice – recruiting for Culinary and other employers for Great American Ballpark
- Eastgatesprings – recruiting for Caregivers, STNA, LPNs, and RNs
- Jovie (formerly College Nannies, Sitters & Tutors) – recruiting for after-school nannies and other roles
- February 1 (11 a.m. – 1 p.m.)
- AAA Club Alliance – recruiting for Car Wash Associates, General Service or Tire Technicians, and Roadside Assistance
- TriState Water Works/LUX Landscape Light – recruiting for technicians

Other events during Spring Semester will include a visit from Dress for Success Cincinnati and the JCPenney Suit-up Event.
