Consider Giving Challenge opportunities on Giving Tuesday
November 29 is “Giving Tuesday,” an independent nonprofit movement that has inspired many people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
As you think about organizations or causes to support through your giving, you may want to consider the Cincinnati State Annual Fund Giving Challenge, which continues until Friday, Dec. 9.
Gifts to this internal fundraising campaign support Cincinnati State students and programs through contributions to the Cincinnati State Foundation.
All Annual Fund donations– small or large– are welcomed and valued.
- Options for giving are listed on on the pledge form (click to download).
- You can choose how you want to direct your gift, by selecting:
- a scholarship fund
- a division or campus fund that provides resources for purchasing classroom equipment or other support for teaching and learning
- a special initiative such as CState Accelerate, the Career Closet, the Surge Pantry Food Cupboard, or other College projects and services
Giving Challenge Coin Wars are already underway among the seven team competing in the Giving Challenge.
- if you place paper money or quarters, dimes, or nickels in your team’s jar, you’re earning points for your team.
- However, pennies in the jar will be deducted from your team’s total– so you’ll want to drop off your 1 cent coins in some other team’s jar.
Numerous fundraising activities have been planned by the teams– Daily News will provide a comprehensive list of these choices as soon as we collect them all.
