Scholarship applications for 2023-24 open Nov. 1
Starting November 1, students can apply for Cincinnati State institutional scholarships for the 2023-24 academic year. The application deadline is February 15, 2023.
Faculty and staff members are encouraged to let students know about institutional scholarships by posting a Blackboard announcement and/or sharing the Scholarship flyer (click to download).
- Students applying for scholarships must turn in their 2023-24 FAFSA form (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and submit an online Cincinnati State Institutional Scholarship application.
- Students use their Cincinnati State login to access the online Scholarship Application.
- A list of all Institutional Scholarships can be viewed at https://cincinnatistate.academicworks.com.
The Office of Financial Aid is happy to assist students in reducing the burden of debt related to financing education. To get help:
- Visit the Financial Aid Office in ATLC Room 105 during in-person service hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)

All institutional scholarship steps are completed online, including letters of reference.
- Students add the name and email address of references to the online application.
- The system generates an email message to the reference with instructions for submitting a reference letter. The deadline for submitting reference letters is Feb. 15, 2023.
