Chef Yek will lead “cook-along” event for Cincy Museum Center on Oct. 23

Chef Grace Yek, Program Chair for Cincinnati State’s Culinary and Food Science bachelor’s degree, will lead a live “virtual cook-along” event sponsored by Cincinnati Museum Center on Friday, Oct. 23, starting at 7 p.m.

Chef Yek will provide a “New World makeover” for traditional Chinese sticky rice balls by adding pumpkin in two ways:

  • The first variety simply incorporates pumpkin into the sticky rice dough.
     
  • The second variety uses pumpkin as a filling and involves a couple of extra steps.

According to Chef Yek, “These sticky rice balls are perfect to share with friends and family, and may even put a smile on a few faces.”
