Job Fair Week connected students and employers
Nearly 150 students attended Job Fairs sponsored by the CState Career Center that took place on Clifton Campus from September 20-22.
- The Federal Work Study Job Fair promoted on-campus employment options available from College departments.
- The Part-Time Job Fair informed students about flexible employment opportunities offered by 16 employers. Seven employers attended both days of the two-day Job Fair.
Kristine Topmiller, Student Services Specialist, and Kelly Harper, Director of the Career Center, thanked those who made Job Fair Week successful, with a special shout-out to Michael Tjiong from the Office of Financial Aid for his work to help connect students eligible for Federal Work-Study with potential jobs on-campus.
Kristine and Kelly said the employer partners for the Part-Time Job Fair reported a positive experience, leading to more student connections and more potential new hires for their organizations.
