The event, hosted by the Cincinnati State Women’s Empowerment Network (WEN), included students representing over 30 countries, who shared conversations with attendees while enjoying an array of cookies and pastries. The international students also added their country of origin to a large world map that was displayed during the Coffee Hour.

One student commented that the celebration of diverse cultures felt “nourishing” and was “the best event” that had been offered during this student’s time at the College.

WEN thanked event organizers and helpers including faculty members Jayne Dressing, Reena Goel, Nora Beckmann, Kelly Edmondson, Shada Salem, Heather Hatchett, and Holly Stoddard, as well as Brittany King and Crissy Ross.
