Need a U.S. passport? “Passport Fair” takes place in Cincinnati on Aug. 26
On Monday, August 26, 2024, from noon to 7 p.m., a Passport Fair will take place at the Cincinnati Main Library (800 Vine St.).
The fair is a partnership of the U.S. Department of State, the Cincinnati Public Library, and Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown’s office. Recently, the State Department announced that a permanent Passport Agency will be opened soon in Cincinnati to serve those with “urgent travel needs.”
At the Passport Fair, agency employees will be on site to help the community submit applications for new passports, or apply for renewals of previously issued passports.
Approved passports will be sent by mail after the event, within 6-8 weeks for routine service or within 2-3 weeks for expedited service.
Registration is required, but there’s no cost to register.
