“Reaching Out for Kids” students learned about welding careers
Welding instructor Bruce Scherer gave students in the “Reaching Out For Kids” program some hands-on experiences with welding equipment and described opportunities in the welding industry as part of the organization’s Summer Camp activities.
Reaching Out for Kids, Inc. is a non-profit organization that uses golf as a platform to teach life lessons and assist young people ages 3 to 17. While much of the summer program focuses on building golf skills, participants also learn about career options, character education, and other topics and experiences to help increase their potential for future success.
The program is open to youth of all backgrounds throughout Greater Cincinnati.
