Students can explore a new career option at “CPA Camp”
Area high school students and Cincinnati State students who have not declared a major or are considering a change of major are invited to learn more about the accounting field at “Careers in Professional Accounting (CPA) Camp” on June 20, from 9:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Careers in Professional Accounting Camp is an all-expenses-paid experience for students interested in exploring careers in accounting. Students will learn through presentations and discussions with local professionals how accounting can lead to career stability, a high salary, and meaningful work. Participating students also will have an opportunity to earn scholarships.
Students encouraged to attend are those who identify as having a disability, LGBTQ+, students of color, or are the first in their family to attend college. However, participation is not limited to these groups.
- All participating students will receive free student membership in the Ohio Society of CPAs.
- To register for CPA Camp, students should complete the application form by Tuesday, June 11.
