Benefits information session offered on May 8; Open Enrollment is May 10-24

To help employees prepare for Benefits Open Enrollment, you can talk to the College’s benefits broker, Horan, and some other companies that provide benefits, on Wednesday, May 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Summit Restaurant (ATLC 2nd floor).

• A benefits overview presentation will be offered twice during the information session, from 10 to 11 a.m. and from 1 to 2 p.m.
• Other benefits providers available at today’s information session include:
  • Anthem – Blue Cross and Blue Shield, which will replace UMR as the College’s insurance provider starting July 1, 2024. (The College’s prescription drug plan is not changing.)
  • Superior Dental Care
  • TriHealth
• Employee Open Enrollment for health insurance and other College-provided benefits will start Friday, May 10, at 9 a.m. and close Friday, May 24, at 11:59 p.m.

• On Wednesday, May 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., individual (1-to-1) open enrollment consultation sessions will be provided by HR Benefits Coordinator Dina Henderson and HR Director Falonda Rodgers.

Look for additional information from the Human Resources Department coming this week via email.

• Information coming by email will include a summary of benefits and coverage, including plan rates, as well as the link to the CState Online Benefits Portal where you can select or change benefits for you and/or your dependents.
• Please note that if you completed last year’s online Open Enrollment using a non-Cincinnati State email address, email messages from HR about this year’s Open Enrollment will go to that address.

Choices or changes made during May Open Enrollment will go into effect July 1, 2024.
