Numerous basketball prognosticators entered the Cincinnati State “Surge Madness” brackets competition, and four challengers surpassed all the rest in predicting the outcome of the 2024 NCAA men’s and women’s basketball tournaments.

Congratulations to our victors, who were able to forsee that UConn and South Carolina would prevail, and didn’t stumble too far when projecting possible upsets in the early rounds.

The Men’s bracket ended in a tie between Katie Chiappone and Ted Kindle.

In the Women’s bracket, Jesse Brown finished first (for the second time since Surge Madness added the women’s games to our local competition), and Meredith Effler was second.
