Feb. 1 is the deadline for Faculty Excellence Award nominations
The nomination period for Cincinnati State’s annual Faculty Excellence Awards ends February 1, 2024.
Nominations for the House/Bruckmann Faculty Excellence Award and the Adjunct Faculty Excellence Award are submitted using online nomination forms (links below).
The Excellence Awards will be presented during a Common Time event in April 2024.
House/Bruckmann Faculty Excellence Award:
- Two House/Bruckmann awards are presented annually. Any member of the full-time faculty who currently is tenured may be nominated for the award. However, award recipients from the past 5 years are not eligible, and self-nominations are not accepted.
- To submit a nomination, use the online form at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/P57C69M_FacExcelNom24
Adjunct Faculty Excellence Award:
- Up to 5 Adjunct Faculty Excellence Awards are presented annually, with no more than one recipient per division (BTD, EIT, HPS, H&S, and adjunct faculty not assigned to one of the other divisions).
- Adjunct faculty who may be nominated for the award include those who work in a part-time capacity for the College in assignments that involve instruction, cooperative education coordination, clinical coordination, academic advising, or another faculty role.
- College full-time staff members who also serve as adjunct faculty may be nominated for this award, but their nomination must be based entirely on their adjunct faculty work.

Reminders for submitting and editing nominations for both awards:
- You may revise or add to a previously submitted nomination until February 1, 2024, but you must use the same computer and browser to do so.
- To submit a NEW nomination, you will need to clear your browser’s history OR use another computer or browser to do so.
- You’ll type supporting information for nominations into textboxes that limit you to approximately 300 words. It may be easier to draft your nomination language in a Word or text document, and then copy and paste it into the form.
