Students: Feb. 15 is the deadline to apply for institutional scholarships
The deadline for students to apply for Cincinnati State institutional scholarships for the 2024-25 academic year is February 15, 2024.
Faculty and staff members are encouraged to let students know about institutional scholarships by posting a Blackboard announcement and/or sharing the Scholarship flyer (click to download a copy of the flyer).
- Students applying for scholarships must turn in their 2024-2025 FAFSA form (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and submit an online Cincinnati State Institutional Scholarship application at https://cincinnatistate.academicworks.com/users/sign_in.
- Students use their Cincinnati State login to access the online Scholarship Application.
- The online application form takes about 30 to 40 minutes to complete, but students who have not already submitted their application should get started soon, so recommendation letters can be completed on time also.
- Students add the name and email address of their references to the online application.
- The online system generates an email message to the reference with instructions for submitting a reference letter. The deadline for submitting reference letters is Feb. 15, 2024.

Students who have questions or need help can contact the Financial Aid Office, by calling (513) 569-1530, sending an email message to fam@cincinnatistate.edu, or visiting the office in ATLC 105 during in-person service hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
