Audrey Woods is Interim Director of Admissions for Spring Semester
Effective today, January 2, Audrey Woods will serve as Interim Director of Admissions for Spring Semester.
Audrey said she is excited to assist the admissions team during this time of transition.
Debbie Poweleit’s last day as Director of Admissions and Career Services will be Friday, January 12. She will be continuing in a part-time capacity, assisting the Interim Director while the College begins the search for a permanent Director of Admissions.
Vice President Amy Waldbillig, who supervises College Admissions and Marketing services, said, “Debbie has been a transformative Director of Admissions for the College. She set up the current structure for the admissions office, creating a digital knowledge bank for employee training to provide clear, accurate communications with students. She also provided key leadership for selecting and deploying a new Customer Relationship Management software tool, and she helped identify target market segments and strategies for the College’s Enrollment Services Plan.”
Amy added, “Debbie’s leadership has led to an increase in new student enrollment each year she served in her role. We are grateful for her efforts.”
Audrey has served as Associate Dean in the Business Division since Fall 2021. She has worked in higher education for over 15 years in a variety of roles, including student activities, academic advising, admissions, and marketing.
Prior to joining Cincinnati State, Audrey was the Assistant Dean of Enrollment Management at the Kline School of Law at Drexel University (Philadelphia, PA), where she managed the admissions and communications teams as well as new program development.
Audrey holds a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Drexel University, with extensive coursework in adult learning and leadership. She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Kentucky.
Also effective today, January 2, Eimee Donbar will serve as the Interim Associate Dean for the Business Division for Spring Semester.
Eimee has been with Cincinnati State since 2018, serving as an Academic Advisor for the Business Division and as an Experiential Learning Coordinator for Humanities & Sciences. She served as an interim academic administrator for the Business Division for several weeks during Fall Semester 2021 while the search process for an Associate Dean was underway.
Eimee has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati. While pursuing her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati, she decided to pursue opportunities in higher education.
Eimee’s academic experience includes teaching, disability services, peer mentoring, student activities, and residence life, and she also has professional experience in marketing, fundraising, and sales.
