Giving Challenge ends this week; many fundraising choices are available
The Annual Fund Giving Challenge to support Cincinnati State students and programs through contributions to the Cincinnati State Foundation continues until Wednesday, December 13.
All Annual Fund donations– small or large– are valued.
- Options for giving are listed on on the Giving Challenge Pledge Form (click to download).
- You can choose how you want to direct your gift, by selecting:
- a scholarship fund
- a division or campus fund that provides resources for purchasing classroom equipment or other support for teaching and learning
- a special initiative such as CState Accelerate, the Career Closet, the Surge Pantry Food Cupboard, Student Relief Funds, or other College projects and services
Several teams have fundraising projects that are open to all.
The Engineering & Information Technologies Team is selling Split the Pot tickets for $2 each or 3 for $5. The raffle winner will be announced on December 13. To buy tickets, visit the front desk in the EIT Office (Main 210).
The Humanities & Sciences Team is conducting a Gift Basket Raffle. In the past, gift basket items have included stuffed toys, bottles of spirits, consumer electronics, home-made crafts, and much more.
- Buy raffle tickets for $1 each, and then add as many tickets as you want to the container for the gift basket(s) you want most. On December 14, drawings will take place to determine the winner of each basket.
- You can check out the choices and buy tickets in the H&S Office (Main 232).
The Special Ops Team has several fundraising options. For more information about any of these activities, contact a Team Captain: Patty Edwards, Angelica Kennedy, or Melissa Scott.
- Surge Bingo – During lunch time on Dec. 11 in Main 342 – Games will start at 11:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Regular game card is $2 or 3 cards for $5; Jackpot game card is $5.
- Virtual Garage Sale on Dec. 13 – email photos of items you want to sell to Angelica by Dec. 12.
- Vision Board Party – Purchase your ticket by Dec. 13 for a party to be held in January (based on participant schedules) – $15 ticket includes all supplies and light snacks.
- Painting Party – Purchase your ticket by Dec. 13 for a party to be held in February (based on participant schedules) – $30 ticket includes all supplies and light snacks.
