Annual Fund Giving Challenge is underway
The Annual Fund Giving Challenge for 2023– an internal fundraising campaign that supports Cincinnati State students and programs through contributions to the Cincinnati State Foundation– started November 20, and will continue until Wednesday, December 13.
All Annual Fund donations– small or large– are welcomed and valued. The goal for the Giving Challenge is 100% participation, which lets external donors know that employees value and support the College activities and initiatives that are funded through Annual Fund donations.
- Options for giving are listed on on the Giving Challenge Pledge form— copies of the form have been distributed to campus offices, or click to download the form.
- You can choose how you want to direct your gift, by selecting:
- a scholarship fund
- a division or campus fund that provides resources for purchasing classroom equipment or other support for teaching and learning
- a special initiative such as CState Accelerate, the Career Closet, the Surge Pantry Food Cupboard, Student Relief Funds, or other College projects and services
The volunteer Team Captains for the 2023 Giving Challenge are:
- Business Technologies – Wednesday Oster
- Engineering & Information Technologies – Abbey Yee
- Health & Public Safety – TBA
- Humanities & Sciences – Eimee Donbar, Kristi Drout & Janet Schlaak
- Enrollment & Student Development / Workforce Development– Jesse Brown, Kasey Hall & Kevin Wesselman
- Special Ops – Patty Edwards, Angelica Kennedy & Melissa Scott
Giving Challenge Coin Wars are already underway.
- if you place paper money or quarters, dimes, or nickels in your team’s jar, you’re earning points for your team.
- However, pennies in the jar will be deducted from your team’s total– so you’ll want to drop off your 1 cent coins in some other team’s jar.
Numerous fundraising activities have been planned by the teams– Daily News will provide a comprehensive list of these choices as soon as we collect them all.
To turn in your pledge:
- If you choose to donate via payroll deduction, you can give your completed pledge form to a Team Captain, or email the form to Kim Taylor (kim.taylor@cincinnatistate.edu)
