Join the CS crew to help the Great Parks on Apr. 9
Once again, Cincinnati State volunteers have the opportunity to get outdoors and contribute to the community, through a Great Parks clean up event at Winton Woods on Saturday, April 9, from 9 a.m. to noon.
The CState crew will help clean up trails and stream banks at the park, with a free grilled lunch for all participants after the work is done.
Event host Milene Donlin (who is organizing the event along with Biology Department faculty colleague Karen Groh) said, “Great Parks of Hamilton County makes a tremendous difference in the local wildlife and natural experiences of the Cincinnati region. We are honored to continue our volunteering partnership with them.”
- Students, faculty, and staff members (and family members or friends of CState students and employees) are welcome to register and join the group.
- Children under 14 may participate but must be accompanied by an adult.
- Click here to register by end of day on Monday, Apr. 4 – Space is limited and registration is required
- In addition, participants must complete a waiver form, which will be provided after you register.
On the event day:
- Wear your Cincinnati State gear to show how our College makes a difference in the community!
- Wear clothes you won’t mind getting dirty, and wear closed-toe shoes.
- If you have them, bring your gardening gloves– but disposable gloves will be provided.
