Volunteers needed for Academic League Tournament on Nov. 11

Cincinnati State will continue a longstanding legacy of support for high school academic competitions by hosting the Greater Cincinnati Academic League (GCAL) Fall Tournament on Saturday, November 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Clifton Campus.

Student, faculty, and staff volunteers are needed to help make the tournament a success for the participating high school school students and their coaches.

Volunteers can assist as “quiz masters” who read questions during matches, or help with keeping time or keeping score during the competition.

No prior experience is needed, and responsible teenagers can serve as timers and score keepers– so you can bring your family to help!
