Cinti Enquirer features CState in article about nursing education
Cincinnati State’s Nursing program was featured in a Cincinnati Enquirer article (published Mar. 2) about nursing education in the region and the current shortage of nurses needed for area hospitals and other healthcare settings.
The article examines how Cincinnati State and other higher education institutions are dealing with current challenges, including the need to recruit and retain qualified nursing faculty in order to support additional nursing students.
All of the photos with the article show Cincinnati State Nursing students and faculty members.
The article also notes that Cincinnati State has applied for permission to offer a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and is waiting for approval from the Ohio Department of Higher Education.
