Horticulture Club sale of gourdulents starts today – quantities are limited, so don’t wait!
The annual Horticulture Club Sale of Thanksgiving gourdulents (a gourd filled with succulent plants) begins today, November 6.
A limited supply of gourdulents is available this year (because of weather-related shortages in needed materials), so it’s first come, first served for these attractive holiday decorations.
As of this morning, the available choices are:
- Large – $40 each (only 2 available)
- Medium – $30 each (30 available – see samples in photo above)
- Mini – $10 each (only 6 available)
To order gourdulents, send an email message to Greenhouse Manager Kelly Wanstrath (kelly.wanstrath@cincinnatistate.edu). Let her know what size and how many gourdulents you want, and Kelly will hold them for you to pick up and pay by November 21.
Orders will be taken as long as items remain available.
If you miss out on gourdulents, the annual Horticulture Club poinsettia sale will begin after Thanksgiving Break, with plants priced at $13 each.
All proceeds from the Horticulture Club holiday sales support student participation in the National Collegiate Landscape Competition. The 2024 event takes place in March at Brigham Young University (Provo, Utah).
