CState student chef will be part of “A Black & Savory Experience” on Oct. 25
Culinary student Edward Dion Lee, also known as “Chef Snug,” will be one of the featured chefs at “Palate: A Black & Savory Experience – The Costume Party Edition.”
The “adult costume party” takes place Wednesday, October 25, starting at 6:30 p.m. at The Columns (109 W. Elder St., Cincinnati 45202).
The event, presented by CocoaLuxe Escapes, “celebrates Black people in the culinary arts and beyond.” The ticketed evening includes food, music, live creation of art, spoken word, and more.
Chef Snug expects to complete the Culinary Arts associate’s degree in Spring 2024, and then continue in the Culinary & Food Science bachelor’s program. He says he “loves to bring people together with food” and is the owner of Couzens Kitchen-Hey-Cuzn Catering.
