Scrub Club challenges other student groups to raise funds at Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Oct. 7
The Cincinnati State Surgical Technology Scrub Club will participate in the Cincinnati Tri-State Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, October 7, and is challenging other student organizations to join them in supporting this fund-raising event.
The Scrub Club members hope other student groups will compete for local bragging rights based on bringing the most CState participants or raising the most funds to be used for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.
The Scrub Club also welcomes any Cincinnati State student or employee who wants to join or donate to the Scrub Club team (click to connect to the team page).
This will be the Scrub Club’s third year participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, which begins at 8:30 a.m. at Sawyer Point. The group will meet for a photo and then each participant can walk at your own preferred pace. Cincinnati State team members may bring your family members, and dogs on a leash can take the walk, too.
