Faculty Senate elects officers for 2023-24
The Cincinnati State Faculty Senate has elected officers for the 2023-24 academic year:
- President: Milene Donlin (Health & Public Safety – Biology)
- Vice President: Bob Nields (Information Technologies – Computer Programming & Database Management)
- Elections Secretary: Jon McKamey (Library & Online Learning – Instructional Design)
- Recording Secretary: Jayne Dressing (Humanities – Co-op/Internship Coordination)
Other members of the Faculty Senate are:
- Nora Beckmann (Sciences – Math)
- Beth Hamon (Health & Public Safety – Nursing)
- Lesli Rice (Business – Marketing Management) – Lesli is also the Past President of Senate
- Doug Woodruff (Engineering Technologies – Co-op Coordination)
Ex officio (non-voting) Senate members are:
- Abbey Yee (AAUP President)
- The Adjunct Faculty Representative position is open. Any current adjunct who is interested in this role or has questions can send a message to FacultySenate@cincinnatistate.edu.
Faculty Senate meets on Wednesdays from 2 to 4 p.m. during Fall and Spring semesters, with in-person and Zoom options for attending. Senate meetings are open to all full-time and adjunct faculty members (except adjunct faculty who are also College full-time employees in a non-faculty role).
The eight elected members of the Faculty Senate are chosen by the full-time faculty in their division and serve three-year terms.
The Senate officers are elected annually by the members of the Senate.
