Real Estate student helped represent the College at Ohio Realtors Convention

Real Estate Certificate student Khrynn Schmidt and Program Chair Colleen Meyer represented the Cincinnati State Real Estate program at the Ohio Realtors 2023 Annual Convention and Expo, held Sep. 11 at the Duke Energy Center.

Cincinnati State provided staffing for the convention booth hosted by the Ohio Association of Community Colleges (OACC).

Khrynn said attending the convention was a valuable experience.

“I had the opportunity to network with established real estate agents, and I learned a lot about the latest trends, technologies, and extremely valuable strategies in the real estate world,” she said.

She added, “I gained inspiration and insights that helped me better understand the real estate industry, and I will definitely incorporate these ideas and tips in my future endeavors, including using different forms of business cards, promoting myself on social media and through my own merch, and finding the best brokerage by interviewing them instead of the other way around.”

Khrynn said, “Attending the convention will help me navigate my path toward achieving my goals. The list goes on and on with how much I learned and experienced!”
