Webinar offered on “Preparing Instructors for an Uncertain Fall”

Many organizations are continuing to offer programs that may be of interest to Cincinnati State faculty and other members of the College community.

The Chronicle of Higher Education is offering a free virtual forum on “Preparing Instructors for an Uncertain Fall” on Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 2 p.m. (Eastern time).

Panel members will discuss:

• What does it mean for institutions to be prepared for the various learning environments (in-person, remote, and hybrid) anticipated for Fall semester 2020?
   
• What dedicated institutional support is needed to make remote learning as effective as face-to-face instruction?
   
• How can colleges offer the right kind of assistance to ensure that traditional courses are not just replicated online, but redesigned?
   
• How can colleges prepare faculty members to deliver high quality courses in a hybrid or completely remote environment?
