Campus Bookstore welcomes new manager

The Cincinnati State Follett Bookstore has a new manager, Dave Webster.

Prior to joining Follett Corporation, Dave spent 12 years with LEGO. He moved with his family from California to Cincinnati in January 2023, and started as bookstore manager in May.

Dave says he has a police/military background, but was a musical theater major in college and worked for Disney for several years.

Dave said, “I spent several years attending a college very much like Cincinnati State and enjoyed it more than going to a university. I’m looking forward to developing relationships here, and once I have a firm grasp of the systems here in the bookstore I hope to get out and interact more with the campus community and help to create a bigger presence for the store at Cincinnati State. I am very happy to be here!”

Follett has made several changes in their management structure that affect the College bookstore. The previous bookstore manager, Susan Griffin, was recently promoted to Market Leader at Xavier University, and Cincinnati State’s long-time Course Materials Manager, Laura Smith, has been promoted to support five schools, including Cincinnati State.
