Cincinnati State will benefit from opening event for Museum Center’s “Julia Child” exhibit

A new exhibition, “Julia Child: a Recipe for Life,” will open February 1, 2025, at Cincinnati Museum Center, and a special opening celebration for the exhibit, taking place Thursday, January 30, will benefit the Midwest Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State as well as La Soupe and the Museum Center.
The “Evening Celebrating the Culinary Legacy of Julia Child” will feature curated food and wine pairings inspired by Julia’s iconic recipes and time to explore the exhibition, which examines many facets of Child’s life in multiple interactive spaces. Visitors can step inside a reproduction of Julia’s television studio kitchen and pretend to whip up a dish, view Julia’s personal papers and favorite kitchen tools, see photography by Julia’s husband, Paul Child, and much more.
The exhibition will continue at the Museum Center until May 18, 2025.
