CState welcomes new CFO, Rick Lopez

Rick Lopez has joined the Executive Team at Cincinnati State as the College’s Chief Financial Officer.

Rick brings over 30 years of experience in accounting and finance to his role at Cincinnati State. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Uptown Consortium, Inc. (UCI) for four and a half years. Prior to UCI, Rick spent 11 years at Xavier University in various finance-related positions.

Rick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and an MBA from Xavier University, He serves as a tax return consultant for friends and family and is an active member of the Uptown Community Advisory Committee.

In his leisure time, Rick enjoys playing tennis and golf, as well as attending live music events. He and his wife, Trina, enjoy traveling to Florida to visit family, and following live concerts across the country. 

Rick describes himself as a “passionate sports fan” and an avid supporter of Xavier University basketball, as well as a Miami Dolphins enthusiast. 

Rick and Trina have four adult children, ranging in age from 22 to 27.
