VP Amy Waldbillig joined Washington DC panel discussion on workforce needs

Cincinnati State’s Vice President of Workforce Development, Amy Waldbillig, was an invited member of a panel discussion on “Building the Future U.S. Manufacturing Workforce” held in Washington, D.C., on October 21, 2024. 

Panel members included Jared Polis, the Governor of Colorado; White House Domestic Policy Advisor Neera Tanden; Christian Meisner, Chief Human Resources Officer for GE Aerospace; Hernan Luis y Prado, Founder and CEO of Workshops for Warriors; and Jason Wells, Executive VP at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research.

The event was hosted by the digital news platform SEMAFOR, in partnership with GE Aerospace. 

Reporting on her experience during the October 22 meeting of the College Board of Trustees, Waldbillig said it was an honor to represent Cincinnati State in this national conversation, and she appreciated the opportunity to network with the other panel members and event participants.
