Respiratory Care program receives award for “distinguished success”

Cincinnati State’s Respiratory Care Technology program has received an award for Distinguished Credentialing Success from the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC), as part of CoARC’s 2024 Excellence Awards.

To earn the CoARC award, Respiratory Care programs at 2-year and 4-year institutions had to demonstrate success levels of 90% or higher for graduates taking credentialing exams over the past three years, and meet other accreditation standards at a high level.

Dr. Bonnie Smith, Dean of the Health & Public Safety Division, said, “It’s an honor for the RC program to be recognized as one of the best in the nation in preparing our graduates for success in their profession.”
