Faculty Senate service project assisted the Manifest Drawing Center

Members of the Cincinnati State Faculty Senate combined a planning session for the 2024-25 academic year with a service project for a Central Parkway neighbor, the Manifest Drawing Center (3464 Central Parkway).
On July 31, the Senate members toured the Drawing Center, learned about Manifest’s projects and potential partnerships with College faculty, and then helped organize Manifest’s art resource archive. After lunch (sponsored by the Provost’s Office), Senators spent the afternoon working on plans for the upcoming year.
Manifest is a non-profit arts organization that promotes quality in the visual arts and provides meaningful and accessible art-based experiences for the public to help build visual literacy, critical thinking, and skill development. In addition to the Drawing Center on Central Parkway, Manifest has a Gallery located on Woodburn Ave.
