Benefits Open Enrollment continues until May 24

Employee Open Enrollment for health insurance and other College-provided benefits started May 10 and continues until Friday, May 24, at 11:59 p.m.

Choices or changes made during May Open Enrollment will go into effect July 1, 2024.

Also effective July 1, the College’s insurance is changing from UMR Medical Health to Anthem – Blue Cross and Blue Shield. The College’s prescription drug plan is not changing.

On Friday, May 10, benefits-eligible employees received email messages with additional details about Open Enrollment from Human Resources Director Falonda Rodgers and from HR Benefits Coordinator Dina Henderson.

• If you completed last year’s online Open Enrollment using a non-Cincinnati State email address, that same address was used for this year’s email messages from HR about Open Enrollment.

Information provided by email included:

• The link to the Open Enrollment Benefits portal and the Open Enrollment mobile app, and information about how to reset your password, if needed
• A flyer with a summary of information about the portal and the mobile app
• The 2024-25 Cincinnati State Benefits Guide
• A summary of benefits for the PPO and HDHP plans
• A flyer about Flexible Spending Accounts
• A link to a video with the Benefits Overview Presentation given on campus (Click to watch the video)

On Wednesday, May 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., individual (1-to-1) open enrollment consultation sessions will be provided by HR Benefits Coordinator Dina Henderson and HR Director Falonda Rodgers.
