I-75 / I-74 Construction Update – Apr. 10-12

Some temporary overnight restrictions and some long-term restrictions are scheduled this week as part of highway construction projects.

• All scheduled work is contingent upon weather.
• To help ensure the safety of construction workers and the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed, and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zones.

Mill Creek Expressway Project

Wednesday, April 10

• Intermittent, rolling closure of the ramp (Exit 4) from I-75 South to I-74 West, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday.
• Closure of the exit from I-74 West to Beekman Street/Colerain Avenue (Exit 18) beginning at approximately 10 p.m. The ramp will be closed through early December, and motorists will be detoured by way of the Montana Avenue interchange and the Texas Turnaround to I-74 East and the Beekman/Colerain exit.

Thursday, April 11: 

• Closure of the ramp from southbound Beekman Street to I-74 East, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday. Traffic will be detoured via Elmore Street to Colerain Avenue and Beekman Street to I-74 West and Montana Avenue to I-74 East.
• Full closure of Spring Grove Avenue, between Colerain Avenue and Millcreek Road, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday. Traffic will be detoured via Monmouth Avenue, Central Parkway and Ludlow Avenue.

Friday, April 12: 

• Full closure of Spring Grove Avenue, between Colerain Avenue and Millcreek Road, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday. Traffic will be detoured via Monmouth Avenue, Central Parkway and Ludlow Avenue.
