Faculty Senate invites you to join a Great Parks clean-up event on Earth Day, Apr. 20
The Cincinnati State Faculty Senate invites all members of the College community, as well as your friends and family (including children), to join Senate members in supporting the Great Parks of Hamilton County at the Protect Your Wild clean-up event and Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 20, at Winton Woods (10245 Winton Road, Cincinnati 45231).
Protect Your Wild is a large-scale volunteer effort to clean the area around the lake at Winton Woods, taking place from 9 a.m. until around noon. All volunteers will receive a food voucher and exclusive giveaway items.
To register and join the Cincinnati State team, please complete this form by April 15. The form asks you to identify those you are bringing to the event.
Then remember to wear Cincinnati State gear to the event on April 20!
Volunteers are welcome to stay for the Earth Day celebration at Winton Woods, starting at 11 a.m and continuing until 3 p.m. The celebration features booths from environmental groups, local vendors selling sustainable or homemade products, food trucks, games, and more.
