Help Surgical Tech “Scrub Club” raise funds to attend a national conference

Student members of the Cincinnati State Scrub Club have launched a fundraising project to help cover costs of attending the national conference of the Association of Surgical Technologists in May 2024.

The conference is in Denver, Colorado, and participating students will learn more about their profession by attending conference sessions and networking with students from other surgical technology programs.

Scrub Club members are selling World’s Finest Chocolate candy bars for $1 each throughout this month.

If you want to support the fund drive by purchasing a candy bar, club members plan to be in the ATLC First Floor Lounge from noon to 2 p.m. several days each week, or you might bump into a club member who will sell you candy on the spot if you see them in the halls, or you can reach out to club advisor Deb Shumate (deborah.shumate@cincinnatistate.edu) who can assist you in completing your purchase.
