Career Center introduces “YouScience,” a tool for enhanced career guidance

The Cincinnati State Career Center is excited to share a new resource for students’ career development: YouScience.

YouScience is a guidance platform that uses research, artificial intelligence, and industry insights to guide individuals in identifying their aptitudes, validating their skills and knowledge, and ultimately matching them with real-world educational and career pathways in high-demand occupations.

Key features of YouScience include:

• Aptitude Identification: YouScience helps individuals uncover their innate strengths and aptitudes through a comprehensive assessment process.
• Skills and Knowledge Validation: The platform assists in validating the skills and knowledge individuals have acquired, providing a clear understanding of their capabilities.
• AI-Powered Matching: Using artificial intelligence, YouScience matches individuals with educational and career pathways that align with their strengths and skills, ensuring a personalized and effective approach.
• Real-world Relevance: The tool focuses on high-demand occupations, bridging the gap between academic pursuits and the needs of the job market.

Students, faculty, and staff members who want to use YouScience should send an email message to the Career Center (careercenter@cincinnatistate.edu) and ask for a YouScience account. The Career Center will set up your account and send you additional information.
