Black Male Initiative sponsors Blood Drive on Feb. 27; sign up now to be a donor

Cincinnati State’s Black Male Initiative organization (BMI) is again hosting a Blood Drive for the University of Cincinnati’s Hoxworth Blood Center, and encourages all members of the College community to consider becoming donors.

The Blood Drive will take place Tuesday, February 27. The blood donor bus will be parked outside the Main Building, near the ATLC, from 9 to 11 a.m. and 12:30 to 3 p.m.

As thanks for participating, all donors will receive a free FC Cincinnati scarf that celebrates the collaboration with Hoxworth.

Hoxworth is the oldest operating blood bank in the country, and serves more than 30 area hospitals and medical centers with blood products to help save the lives of patients.
