Some Main Building offices and classrooms could be colder than usual while new air handler is installed
The air handler that serves several office suites and classrooms in the Main Building has been removed and installation of the new unit is in progress.
However, the new air handler is not expected to be fully installed and operational until the end of January– which means some offices and classrooms may be unusually cold, and will require mobile heaters that will be supplied by the contractor.
Offices and classrooms affected are:
- Main Second floor – 220, 222, 224, 226, 228, 230
- Main Third floor – 320, 322, 324, 326, 328
If you are in one of these areas and it’s uncomfortably cold, please notify the Facilities Department:
- Fill out a Dude Solutions work request (use your CState email and login to get started)
- Or, use the Asset Essentials app to report your concern (download instructions at https://www.cincinnatistate.net/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Facilities-work-request-app-Guide.pdf).
- The Facilities Department will ask the contractor to provide temporary supplemental heat as needed.
