WEN Holiday Market was a success

The Women’s Empowerment Network (WEN) hosted their second annual Holiday Market on November 30, with eight vendors who represented College students, employees, and campus organizations– as well as many enthusiastic shoppers.

Faculty member Jayne Martin Dressing, the WEN advisor, said, “We are excited that WEN was able to double our fundraising this year. More importantly, the Market was an opportunity for great collaboration among faculty, staff, and students who supported the event by donating their time and creativity.”
A popular addition to this year’s event was henna tattoos provided by artisans Reena Goel (Math instructor) and Ratika Ghandi (IT Specialist).
The Market event was organized by faculty members Nora Beckmann and Kelly Edmondson.
Funds raised for the Women’s Empowerment Network support events, guest speakers, and professional development and mentoring for students.
