Pressley Ridge Giving Tree for 2023 helps kids and teens
For the past 7 years, Cincinnati State employees have partnered with Pressley Ridge to provide holiday gifts for children (infants through teens) in the agency’s foster care program.
If you’re able to, please consider supporting the “Virtual Giving Tree” this year, or please consider sharing information with friends and family members who might want to help.
Pressley Ridge is a non-profit organization with offices in Cincinnati and Hamilton. They provide diverse services for children, adults, and families who are facing difficult challenges and complex situations.
The 2023 Virtual Giving Tree is available via Facebook– click to view the kids’ wish lists, and “adopt” a child or teen to buy gifts for.
- Each child has a brief biography of their interests and wishes.
- Look through the pictures of the ornaments and comment “taken” for the child you’d like to support this season.
- There is no set expenditure– you’re welcome to provide one item from the child’s wish list, or several items. All contributions are appreciated.
- Not sure what to buy? Gifts cards are a huge help for foster families. Most requested stores include Walmart, Kroger, Target, Meijer, Amazon, GameStop, Famous Footwear, and Footlocker.
Pressley Ridge asks that you send unwrapped gifts (via Amazon or another service) to their Butler County office at 734 Dayton St., Hamilton, OH 45011. Gifts should arrive no later than Monday, Dec. 11.
- If you are dropping off gifts, please leave them unwrapped and mark them with the number on the ornament of the child you’re shopping for.
Pressley Ridge also accepts monetary donations on their website.
