CState Career Closet expands student access to free professional attire
The Cincinnati State Career Closet is overflowing with an array of professional and business casual attire and accessories, for women and men. Students are invited to visit and select clothing– at no charge– for interviews, career fairs, or other professional settings that call for the perfect outfit to make a lasting impression.
The Career Closet is located on the Basement Level of the Main Building (Clifton Campus) and is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
During Fall Semester, students can take advantage of expanded services outside of the Career Closet’s regular operating hours.
- Visit the Career Closet Clothing Rack, in “The Pit” area of the Main Building Basement level, any time.
- Browse through the items you like.
- Select your choices, and then scan the provided QR code to complete a brief shopping survey.
Completing the survey is essential, as it helps the Career Closet capture valuable data about the services provided. This data assists in securing grant funds to keep the Career Closet fully operational and well-stocked.
The Career Closet is a donation-based program supported by the Cincinnati State Foundation and the College’s Office of Advancement.
Co-op Coordinator Brian Hooten, who supervises Career Closet activities, thanked Student Worker Tristan and Student Volunteer Jaden (photo below) for “remarkable work” in helping to transport recent donations to the Career Closet.
