UC Health Mobile Mammography Unit will visit CState on Sep. 27
The UC Health Mobile Mammography Unit will visit Cincinnati State’s Clifton Campus on Wednesday, September 27 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Members of the College community who are interested in scheduling an appointment should call UC Health at least two weeks ahead (513-584-PINK (7465)) to reserve a place.
- The mobile unit will be parked at the roundabout between the Health Professions Building and the Main Building.
- Each mammogram session is private. The mobile unit has a comfortable waiting area, a registration area, and private changing and screening rooms.
Mammograms are preventative and are covered by most insurance at 100%. When you call to schedule your appointment, you’ll provide your medical insurance information.
- UC Health has financial assistance available for those who do not have insurance, but you need to call in advance to arrange for this assistance.
- Anyone under age 35 must provide a physician’s order for a screening mammogram to participate on the day of the event.
- When you arrive for the appointment, bring your insurance card, a photo ID, information about the physician who should receive your results, and information about where your last mammogram was performed.
- Results will be sent directly to the participant and their designated healthcare provider. Results will also be viewable in the participant’s secure “my UC Health” account.
