Construction Management students presented Capstone projects to “clients” from local companies

Students in the Civil Engineering Technology – Construction Management major finished their Summer studies with a Capstone course that included a presentation to several industry representatives who served as “clients” for a hypothetical construction project.

Capstone instructor Greg Kelly said the Capstone students worked in groups to create a construction schedule and a site logistics plan, compile subcontract bids, work up a full cost estimate, and complete other tasks they described in their final presentation.

The client panel included representatives from local firms Danis, Messer Construction, Model Group, and Pepper Construction.
