Student Meal Plans available for food purchases on Clifton Campus

Students on Clifton Campus can choose to add a Meal Plan to their Surge Card funds for Fall Semester.

Meal Plan funds can be used for food and beverage purchases at the Overlook Cafe and Bakery Hill. Customers using their Surge Card for purchases receive a 5% discount.

Meal Plans were first offered in 2019, but were discontinued because of the pandemic.

Students can purchase a Meal Plan at one of three levels:

• $100
• $200
• $300

Students can purchase a Meal Plan using Self-Service (Log in to MyCState; then select Self-Service > Student Finance > select dropdown for “Meal Plans”).

• The amount selected will be billed and deducted from the student’s Financial Aid when applicable, and if funds are available.
• The daily maximum purchase amount is $30.
• If Meal Plan funds are not used before the end of the semester, the funds are forfeited.
• Meal Plan purchases are refundable through August 27, 2023.
