I-75 / I-74 Construction Update – Aug. 2
Some daytime and overnight restrictions are scheduled this week as part of highway construction projects.
- All scheduled work is contingent upon weather.
- To help ensure the safety of construction workers and the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed, and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zones.

Slide Repair Project
- A permanent right lane closure on I-75 South from Mitchell Avenue to just north of Ludlow Avenue is in place for the duration of the project, which is scheduled to be complete by the end of September.
I-75 Resurfacing Project
Wednesday, Aug. 2:
- Beginning at 9 p.m. on August 2, double-lane closures will be in effect on I-75 South from Hopple Street to the Western Hills Viaduct for the installation of raised pavement markers. The lane restrictions will be in effect until 6 a.m. Thursday, August 3.
- Additional lane restrictions may be in effect throughout the week as weather permits; however, a schedule has yet to be determined.
